“To photograph is to hold one’s breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It’s at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.” ~Henri Cartier-Bresson.
About the Photographer
Shahzad Siddiqui is a Melbourne-based fine art photographer whose work explores stillness, scale, and fleeting moments in the natural world. Having lived across six cities and travelled through more than two dozen countries, his perspective is shaped by contrast- between movement and pause, wilderness, nature and urban life. His work is rooted in quiet observation: the brief alignment of light, the presence of wildlife, and landscapes that exist beyond distraction. Each image is created with intention and released as a limited edition archival print, designed to be experienced physically, not just digitally.
